Well This Is Me-Life at a crossroads

Where do I start to introduce myself? How do you blog? What is a blog? Do I dare write anything? Why am I doing this? Who Am i? What do I write?

Well these are all questions that I have been asking myself as I have sat down to write this post. Having never blogged before and just completed my degree, I now feel the time is right to put pen to paper as it were.

Those of you who know me, you will be aware that I have Asperger’s Syndrome and that life is not easy. Juggling the challenges Asperger’s presents with maintaining a professional image and caring for my dad who is disabled, I think it is fair to say that life is a challenge.

I am strong believer that you can do anything if you put your mind to it and in September 2014 embarked on the adventure of a lifetime- Going to university!
For the vast majority of teenagers, going to university is just another rite of passage and no big deal but for me it was extremely challenging.
Arriving in that first September, I remember feeling this almost overwhelming feeling of doubt and anxiety race through my body as I stepped through the doors for the first time. I needn’t have worried though as I immediately found a group of like minded people and as the weeks progressed into months, threw myself more and more into university life, becoming a key member of the business society.
As time progressed, I found my feet and having just completed my final project, it is time to say goodbye to what has been an emotional roller coaster of an experience.
I suppose the big question now is where next?

Oh and as a bonus It looks like I am on track to graduate with a first!

Thank you for taking the time to read! See you in the next chapter.
